Prey Lures was formed by bass fishermen for bass fishermen. The members of the Prey Lures Team have over 75 years of experience in bass fishing and share a passion for bass angling. Our baits were originally created for our personal use for tournaments and pleasure fishing. We were so successful we just knew we had to offer our baits to the public, that's when Prey Lures was formed.
All of our baits are hand poured by the members of the Prey Lures Team. Our body styles and colors have been tested on the Great Lakes, Santee-Cooper Reservoir, Lake Mead, Lake Guntersville, Sam Rayburn Reservoir, Lake Okeechobee, Lake Castaic, and many other bodies of water throughout the country with great success. The baits are highly effective using a variety of techniques including drop shotting, snap jigging, Carolina rigging, Erie dragging, Texas rigging and many others.
Although our primary focus is on bass, our baits are also multi-species...another plus when selecting baits to cover a wide range of fishing conditions and locations. We have also discovered that many of our baits are dynamite when fishing for Redfish in coastal waters.
If you are a tournament fisherman, our baits can make the difference on those tough days between a small bag and a check. If you fish for fun, our baits will make your time on the water more productive and exciting.
Our Hottest Bait for 2007
Congratulations to Prey Lures Pro Team members Bill Lowen and Jared Rhode for their outstanding achievements for the 2006 fishing season. Bill Lowen qualified for the 2007 Bassmasters Classic and finished 3rd in the Toyota Rookie of the Year competition in the CITGO Bassmaster Elite Series tournament trail. He also won a tournament in the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Buckeye Division event on the Ohio River. Jared Rhode won the 2006 points championship in the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Buckeye Division with the highlight of the season being a win at the Buckeye Division event on Lake Erie.
